Trump’s fans and his haters are equally wearisome to me.

There are pros and cons to a lifelong presidency, it does give a nation a more consistent direction and reduces the drama of elections, but it gives more opportunity for tyranny and makes it less likely that the government will represent the people, so overall I think it’s a bad idea

That view seems to fly in the face of all the work the President has done with Congress, meeting with members of both houses on pending legislation and encouraging, pleading with, and strategizing with them and Speaker Ryan or Senator McConnell.

The Founding Fathers lived in a time when it was common for people to settle their disagreements with a duel and senators would get into fist fights with each other.

Well, I suppose it's a matter of perspective. But I happen to think destroying people's homes with artillery, killing them in the process, is a lot worse than any of these silly conspiracy theories leveled against Trump.

But I suppose there's no accounting for taste.

Given the media, I'm surprised some of them haven't ended up in jail. Put between 100 - 1000 of the top agent provocateurs in the slammer, and I reckon his problems would at least have halved. He could even set up some dummy-Democrat leaders for the sheep who insist on Democrat.
