USSC:

"On March 15, 2025, the United States removed Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from the United States to El Salvador, where he is currently detained in the Center for Terrorism Confinement (CECOT). The United States acknowledges that Abrego Garcia was subject to a withholding order forbidding his removal to El Salvador, and that the removal to El Salvador was therefore illegal. The United States represents that the removal to El Salvador was the result of an “administrative error.”

...The order properly requires the Government to “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador."

Statement of SOTOMAYOR, J.
"The United States Government arrested Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia in Maryland and flew him to a “terrorism confinement center” in El Salvador, where he has been detained for 26 days and counting. To this day, the Government has cited no basis in law for Abrego Garcia’s warrantless arrest, his removal to El Salvador, or his confinement in a Salvadoran prison. Nor could it. The Government remains bound by an Immigration Judge’s 2019 order expressly prohibiting Abrego Garcia’s removal to El Salvador because he faced a “clear probability of future persecution” there and “demonstrated that [El Salvador’s] authorities were and would be unable or unwilling to protect him.”

Nobody cares about the Supreme Court anymore, we got abortion taken care of, don't really need it.

How can anyone say Garcia received no due process while simultaneously claiming that a court found no evidence he was a gang member?
This really isn't about Garcia. It's all about villafying Trump.

Wrong.

It's about due process and the rule of law.
The Trump admin plainly acted illegally here, and against human liberty.

Even if this is motivated by vilifying Trump, why in the world would people pro Trump people put up a fight when hes obviously wrong. Just admit it and the thread could have died on page one.

Admitting Trump made a mistake would be akin to saying God made a mistake. Which He clearly didn't do, as the New Testament proves.

That coin you showed us does make it look like the intent was for a portrait of God.

Unless Trump is personally handling Mr Garcia’s case, he’s not even really to blame in all this.

I actually find it more concerning Bukele, the president of a literal banana republic, thinks he can come to the US and play dumb and condescending to American reporters about this matter and be well received by the American people.

Remember how upset you all were with Zelensky just a couple weeks ago for his “disrespect” to our country?

More liberal lies! El Salvador’s top 20 exported goods do not include bananas. It's more of a Taylor Swift Garment Sweatshop.

The King's court sat in admiration.

All of it is quickly being replaced with their new export of prison beds for enemies of the Trump regime United States.

You described a reference or callback, not any sort of play on words.
Okay, I'll give this one more try. When someone sneaks people into the US via transport- like in an airplane (or the back of a truck, or in the trunk of a car etc) - it's called smuggling illegal aliens into the US.

Thats right.

But it has zero to do with what happens if the US requests they send the guy back. Do you think it does?

Yes their complete disregard for an order from the Supreme Court is also a major concern especially when they’re talking about sending actual American citizens to this very same foreign prison.

Was it also smuggling when the US brought back a Russian ballerina last week?
