True Word Of God?

RE this book by Clement of Alexandria. If it proved genuine, it would be worth reading, but where did you read about this? This still wouldn't necessarily mean that Clement's book was Scripture.
While the Bible quotes from other sources, it does not precede those quotes with the formula "Thus says the Lord", or "Scripture says", etc. That the Biblical writers used worthwhile or appropriate quotes does not mean these are lost books of the Bible. I don't know that I'd want the Bible any longer than it is; I'm working hard enough to master(if that were possible) what we already have :) Al

I believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
This is not to say that other books haven't been written under the anoining of God. One must study to show himself approved. One must seek the Holy Spirit to guide us in all things and to give us discernment to know in our spirits what is turely of God and what is not.

Just wondering...what 'other' books would you be referring to?

God's Word is true, it has a different message for each one of us. We all have a different walk. To really study the Word, one needs to have a Strong's exhaustive concordance w/greek and hebrew dictionary. Errors in the Bible, yes, but men make mistakes, God does not. He will lead you and show you what you need to know.
