you love CNN for the news-T/F

We don't have tv, but I have seen CNN...and watched it for the news.

Your eight-year-old son wants to wrestle. He has done Biddy wrestling for the past two years. This year he is permitted to wrestle on Attack Team which is a traveling team grades 3-6 eventhough he is only in 2nd grade. The past two years he placed third in an open tournament. You get the schedule and all meets are scheduled for Sunday morning. Weigh in starts at 10:30...matches start at 11:30. Do you allow him to travel with the team for 2 1/2 months even though he will be missing Sunday School and church? :sigh:

Wow! Tough one!

I would have to say no. I have allowed my sons to miss an occassional service for sports. But I would have to say that for an extended time and every Sunday, no. I believe that I should teach my children that church attendance is important to their Christian walk and that God needs to be first.

If a friend asks you if her new outfit that she paid a fortune for was worth it do you honestly tell her that it is ghastly and makes her look like a "lady of the night"?
