@ NorwayUnn - Rootbeer is an American soft drink that most Europeans either think is wonderfully spicy or horribly medicine-tasting. It is supposed to taste like a tea made of sassafras roots, only fizzy. Sassafras trees, while quite plentiful in the American South, are conspicuously absent from Europe.

And Barq's rootbeer is the best.
