  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Are we talking literally or figuratively? True to both. When in a dark rooms, if I look straight ahead, I am able to capture a tiny bit more light in my perpheral vision than if I looked at the same area straight on.

Otherwise. All the time, in all sorts of places and ways.

T/F? You like learning.

i suppose it's True but it doesn't happen often . . . I don't regularly associate with small children and when I am in their company it's as a medical professional helping them so I don't really have much of a chance to make them laugh but I know I delight in making them smile when I have the chance to do that and if I do make them laugh then I would certainly delight in that, too :)

T/F -- voting for a political party is more important then voting for a candidate no matter what party he or she is?

False. I think voting party tickets is like bargain shopping."Buy one get the second one free...so it's not as good. You got it for free. What are you complaining about?" No thanks. I'm not voting for someone just becasue a party backs them. I don't trust them that much. I question everything. And I only vote my conscience. I don't really understand people who don't think that's important.

Sorry Brinny, I guess we both posted to the same question at the same time.
t/f: researching candidates running for office is unimportant.
:D False. If you don't research them, how can you really vote for them? It's like throwing that vote away. Why even bother.

Reposting my question.
