True. Whether or not this patriotism is healthy, rather than a product of government manipulation, and appeasement is a whole other issue. This support the troops mentality is good for the troops, but a ploy by our leaders to keep the war from being labeled a vietnam in my opinion.

I resent your insinuation that partriotism is unhealthy. Perhaps you are not American, or if so, are new to this country. My family has been here since the beginning. Many have fought and died to protect the rights of Americans. A little respect would be appreciated. Or perhaps a modicum of gratitude for their selfless sacrifice?

To answer your question: True, He's an ethical Christian from what I can tell. I'm not God, so I can not judge him or see his true heart. But, False, he is not tolerant or "turn the other cheek" as efidenced by our being at war currently.

T/F Discussing politics is even more volitile of a subject than discussing religion? And probably as such shouldn't be discussed in this nice forum.

Do they? I've only seen them sitting on top of electrical polls. Every once in awhile they'll dive bomb and come back up holding a feild mouse in their talens. But, I never noticed birds scattering. But, just because I didn't notice doesn't mean I can say it's false either.
