True inner freedom​

We can’t love others unless we actually love ourselves in God’s unconditional, infinite love. For we can only be lovingly truthful, and present, when our love is rooted in our relationship with God. Otherwise, while our love for others can be good, there are often underlying conditions for the love to continue. In other words, it is based on need alone, and so, is self-centered. This knowledge that is imparted to us to the degree that we can handle it, is necessary, and also a gift. It is not about leading us into a false sense of guilt, but to understand our situation and how the Lord wishes to lead us into true inner freedom that only God’s love can heal. -Br.MD

watered by that endless fountain of water that gushed out of our Lord's side when the Roman soldier pierced his side. The endless fountian of blood poured out to cleanse our sins and the endless living water (hudor) poured out for our blessings. Amen
