Trouble

I am having alot of trouble with my family because i have been told what i am supposed to do next year and i dont want to do it
I have chosen to go to a whole new city and start fresh and work in an industry i probably never expected to be it.
Please pray that my parents will understand my decision and for courage for me to actually tell them

Heavenly Father, we glorify you this morning and thank you that you always hear our prayers and are concerned with our day-to-day lives. Caplio desires to move to another town and take a job which his parents may not approve of. He's afraid this may cause contention between him and his parents. Lord, you are wise in all things and I ask for your perfect will, that you bring Caplio to a place of trusting you concerning this matter, that he seeks and accepts your guildance. Give his parents peace in whatever decision you direct him in and let them know that it's your will for him. Thank you. In Jesus' name, Amen


Just wondering Caplio, is this job your parents have expected you to go into the family business? You obviously have a lot of respect for your parents whatever job it is because you're afraid of disappointing them. Please pray that the Lord will show you the best road to take. Explain your desires honestly to him in prayer but allow him the opportunity to show you his, as well.

Accepting God's will for your life can be hard at times because it may not be what we want at the time. But I can tell you through my own experience that doing the hard thing, telling the Lord that you will do things his way and not yours, will ultimately lead to more happiness and fulfillment in your life than if you had chosen your own road. You are a child of God, he is your Heavenly Father. Show him this kind of respect and you can never go wrong.
