trouble staying logged in

I keep being logged off the server over and over again ...... it's weird I finally got in but at the same time if I try to open CF in another window it comes up asking me to log in again

Hey ariella,

A lot of people are having this problem at the moment, i am as well - i got booted off right in the middle of making a post. Grrrr....

We have some brilliant techs here, it should be fixed soon.

Just because it's the kind of information that might help:

I'm having more luck staying logged in if I don't click the "Remember Me" button.

I was having trouble logging in earlier, but now I can log in, but if I click on User CP it asks me to log in again, but when I try, it then wont let me log in, so I have to start from scratch again.

Just wanted to add a little more here on this problem; that a member pm'd me saying he had to create a new nick to get in cf.

I also can not get into usercp and as well, if CF was not saved in bookmark area I would not be able to get on CF at all.

A you are not logged in menu comes up and when enter p/w says thanks, and comes back saying not logged in again.

If that happens, you have to clear your cookies.

Also, nothing is showing up as "read" in my UserCP.

Hi, Thanks!

In this case I don't think is a cookies problem; or am fairly certain isn't as was unable to get in to cf via explorer browser at all. Firefox let me in but didn't let me in to user cp and a staff area.

I just attempted now to get into usercp and the staff area and can get in, so to the CF tech as regards my post in this thread; I am now able to get in those areas so is working fine now.

Yeah this is happening to me too. First, every time I would go to the User CP I would be logged out and asked to log in again, and now, nearly every time I go into a new forum or subforum, or thread, I get booted off and have to log in again.

I have to use a proxy server to log in.

I just tried to log in not using a proxy server. Didn't work.

I finally was able to log in normally, and so far have been able to navigate the forum at fairly good speed.

problem still seems to be there for me
I'm logged in on one computer (laptop) and hadn't cleared cookies which is the only way I can get in to CF -- but I go to the usercp and any address that has the www.christianforums in it I get kicked out
on my other computer where I'd logged out and cleared cookies; I can't get into CF at all -- tried getting a new nickname and that didn't solve the problem; tried cookie clearing; rebooting; refreshing - and nothing has worked

So far, the only things that seem to work are clearing the cookies and removing the www, so the URL is http://christianforums.com. Hopefully that works for some people

I tried all of that on the other computer and nothing hope it works for others though
