Trouble on another Christian board

I would just like to know why so many professing Christians have so little love for each other and why they are so quick to hurt their brothers and sisters in Christ. Up till yesterday I used to post regularly on another Christian board and then I got a pm from another person on that board accusing me of doing something on her I did not even realise I had done! I returned the pm and said I was sorry if I'd hurt her in anyway and it was totally unintentional but, although she has been on the board and therefore will have seen my pm she hasn't even had the common courtesy to reply to me! The crazy thing is, in my experience, even most nonbelievers would have replied and said "let bygones be bygones". Yet here we have a Christian who won't even do that little thing. This has really hurt me and it is going to be a real struggle to forgive this person so please pray that God will give me the strength to do so, as unlike her I believe in obeying Christ's command to forgive. At the moment though I am so angry and hurt I am almost in tears. More so because I thought this person was my friend.

Even Jesus warned us about wolves in sheeps clothes. Saying your a christian does not mean your a wonderfull person. Why do you call me master while you do not do what i say 'Jesus replied' even to his own people.

This world is filled with darkness and hatred, and people go thru so much horror and often pass that darkness and hatred to other people. And its true what your saying, many people say that if there was no religion in the middle east, it would be heaven. If no one would believe there, they wouldn't have to kill eachother over who's religion is best. If people kill eachother in the name of a loving God, does it suprise you that they also maltreat eachother?

The meaning of life is to love and help eachother, our job is to spread the love and light, and not fight evil with evil , but with love. Don't give another spin to the wheel of hatred, people like her are unconsious. As Jesus said , What does the word Christian mean if you do not listen to what Jesus says? Be forgiving however, love your enemies, and pray for her that she will replace the darkness with love and light in her life.

I'm sorry that happened to you

Isn't it terrible how much Christians can tear each other apart? I think that we focus so much on 'saving the world' that we forget that non-Christians aren't going to want anything to do with our faith if we can't even uphold common courtesy toward each other.

Prayers for you to be able to forgive her I know how difficult that is.

I have only recently joined CF , but will say; you are welcome here any time.

I really would not let that other so-called professing chistian bother you - we all make silly mistakes, I'm a vetaran at that.

I can not really comprehend where she is coming from. We know being a Christian is an identification to the Lord Jesus's life - he set the example for us ALL to follow.

Remember the Women who the pharisees wanted to stone to death for being cought in adultary. "let him who is without sin cast the first stone". (John 8.v7) said the Lord. What wonderfull grace!

Anything you have done against this other women was self evidently unintentional otherwise why would you even both to PM her to apologise? Maybe she just does not want the truth from you, in the same way she, on this ocashion at least, does not follow the truth in the Bible in dealing with the situation.

Just Do what the Lord Jesus would do forgive, and leave her to make her own desision either for, or against righteousness. Don't give satan an opportunity through her to become unforgiving. I know its not easy I have myself at times been hurt by so-called Christians so know to some extent at least how it feels right now.

I once heard it said, "The Christian army is the only army that shoots its own wounded." There is little love in many people professing Christ. My suggestion, don't make friends on the internet, and if you do, don't be surprised by anything that happens.

Welcome to CF, I will tell you this forum even has christians like that here, but aslong as you stay away from the debate and theology areas you will be fine. Alot of christians claim to be christians but they aren't a true christian who loves Jesus would never be cruel or hurt you on purpose.

Thanks to everyone who replied Thankfully things have been sorted out now. (thank You Lord ) Trish I know what you mean about the internet as I have been hurt a lot more by "friends" on the net than I have in real life. IMO a lot of the problem is it is a lot easier to misunderstand someone when you are communicating online because you cannot hear their voice or see their body language.
