That might be the time to lie, because that's not her real question, although she hardly ever knows that.

Wrong Answer: "Not any fatter than every thing else you wear"
Second wrong answer: "You don't look fat, you are fat"
Thrid wrong answer: "Fat? More like enormous" (This is a particularly bad choice!)

Correct Answer: "You look so wonderful I would marry you all over again!"
Answer with your heart not your eyeballs.

Well, to save a life (or a marriage or relationship) are the first that come to mind......

There are several instances in scripture where lying is actually rewarded.

The commandment is to "not bear false witness against a neighbor." There are many instances where an untruth would not fall in to that category.

i.e. - Do you hate Jews? "yes" - do you have Jews hiding on your home? "no"

Hmm
That bears some thinking about especially the saving a life part.

How would I answer and not put some one in jepordy and still tell the truth?

LOL - I'd wager it was a guy - or a woman that didn't like you that suggested that - trust me - forget you ever heard it!!!

Seeing that sometimes he makes the Athiesm of Stephen Hawking look like one of Benny Hinn's revivals, I can't trust anything that man says concerning morality or the opposite gender.
