BillH said:Wasn't he bishop of Krakow, Poland like our late Holy Father? Don't remember the particulars of his martyrdom, but I think it had something do with admonishing the Polish King over his sinful behavior.
Paul S said:Here's another question about the saints.
The Feast of the Seven Holy Founders is on February 12. Name the seven, and what was it they founded, and when?
Paul S said:Correct.
Name this saint and his feast day:
He was born in Cappadocia, made bishop of Constantinople, purged it of heresy, and when the other bishops rose up against him, he gave up his see to pursue study and writing. He championed the doctrine that the Son and Father are of one substance. He was not martyred, but lived to an old age.
Paul S said:I'll add another question, too.
On Christmas, the second Mass, the Mass at Dawn, was not originally celebrated for the Nativity. Who was it for?
I'll choose option 3 because we've already talked about her previouslyAnn M said:Possible options:-
Feast of David and James the Apostle
Feast of the Baptism of Christ
Feastday of Saint Anastasia

Paul S said:But May 14th is not the feast day of St. Gregory Nazianzen.
Information found about St Basil reads "Feast day in the West: formerly 14 June (his day of consecration), but since 1969 on 2 January with St. Gregory Nazianzen."
ETWN says " The Latins honour him on the 8th of May."
Your Roman Breviary has him on May 9th.
