  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Stumbling, tripping all around
The sharp rocks pierce my skin
The weight of shame bears down

Shattered hopes and dreams
My heart sliced and bleeding

My senses are out of control
My body is bruised and crying
My head spins in distress

Surrounded by evil I wilt
The pressure is growing stronger
The torment grows more severe

Tears scald my roughened cheeks
Burning eyes cloud with pain
Assaulted by my own pride
There's nothing left to gain

Until I focus upward
To Heaven which is my home
God has mercy and loves me
Showing compassion from His throne

He sends His only Son to me
To carry me all the way through
When I can no longer move
His exquisite love shines true

Whenever I'm in doubt
I remember His saving grace
When life seems more than I can bear
His love shines on my face

God's triumphant grace for me
Saves my soul from death
His power and glory define my life
Always with every breath
