I need someone to talk to..I feel lonely because I fell to temptation again. I really tried to avoid it but sometimes it can manage to get thru me. I felt I have offended not only my family,myself but Jesus as well. Lord knows how I prayed so hard and tried to live in a manner benefiting Christ. I wish there is someone out there that would just lend an ear to and a shoulder to lean on. thanks...

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you believe the bible, remember what it says:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.(John1:9)
That means that you are as righteous as you were before you sinned.
Sometimes, forgiving ourselves is the hardest thing... but you need to do so to move on.
Hope that things get better

God forgives you and loves you, try and be like God because he's already forgiven you and wants you to forgive yourself too. We are all sinners, no one is perfect except God. We are all equal and deserve self-forgiveness and self-respect. I am praying for you. Happy 2010!

thank you guys for that very inspiring words..i really appreciate it..i just felt awful during that moment, anyways, I feel better now and with this new year ahead of us, im looking forward for a new life..no more of that old stuff for me..have it consider a thing of the past...

Im doing just fine 
God works in mysterious ways really..I thank him for giving me wonderful friends like you and the rest of the guys in CF and of course for giving me such a wonderful family.
Im into a good start this year and looking forward to become a good christian not by words but by faith.

One neat thing about God is that nothing you ever say or do surprises Him. He knows YOU, and loves you anyway! Christ died for ALL our sins, (had you not sinned you would not need a saviour). Now then start living and stop condeming yourself.
