No, no fines. Just that they may lose their religious non-profit exemption as they have become a political organization, and need to follow the rules of political organizations. Again, this is why I tend to support the Johnson Amendment, it prevents actual political organizations from operating as churches to get tax exempt status. No fines if they suggest a certain candidate is the best choice?
Maybe that’s because you are reading something into my posts that aren’t there. Just guessing.I certainly don't get that impression.
I can’t see why that would be. You have your false gods that you want to rule. I just have the One True God.I find all theocracy disturbing and un-American.
Fine was the wrong word. I should have used penalty. No, no fines. Just that they may lose their religious non-profit exemption as they have become a political organization, and need to follow the rules of political organizations. Again, this is why I tend to support the Johnson Amendment, it prevents actual political organizations from operating as churches to get tax exempt status.
Fines? No, they lose their tax exempt status. But as we have already discussed tax exempt status is not a requirement for free speech. No fines if they suggest a certain candidate is the best choice?
Maybe it's your aggressively terse posting style.Maybe that’s because you are reading something into my posts that aren’t there. Just guessing.
I can’t see why that would be. You have your false gods that you want to rule. I just have the One True God.
And yet you immediately provide an example of what's disturbing.I can’t see why that would be.
You have your false gods that you want to rule. I just have the One True God.
I doubt that’s it.Maybe it's your aggressively terse posting style.
Yeah. Okay.I think you are mistaken. I have no gods, and neither does the government of the United States.
I didn’t say that my views wouldn’t disturb you. I’m going after your idol. And yet you immediately provide an example of what's disturbing.
Maybe. But I’m certainly not one of them. I love my country and want to go back to the principles that we started with.Certainly the Constitution protects your right to be bigoted, but it also forbids the government from being bigoted. In Washington's words "For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support."
Unfortunately, we're seeing more and more examples of people withholding their support, or even working to thwart, the Government of the United States and its mandate from We The People.
Do those principles include the secular form of government?Maybe. But I’m certainly not one of them. I love my country and want to go back to the principles that we started with.
Of course not. I want things to improve. Secularism is just soft Satanism.Do those principles include the secular form of government?
So you want to go back to only some of the principles that we started with. And remove some of the other principles that we started with.Of course not. I want things to improve.

No.So you want to go back to only some of the principles that we started with. And remove some of the other principles that we started with.
The lie of neutrality. One of Satan’s greatest. He even has some Christians believing it. No, it’s either Christ or chaos.I'm glad I wasn't drinking or I'd need a new keyboard.
Secularism doesn't have anything to do with Satanism any more than it has to do with Christianity. Secularism is just government neutrality on religion (including irreligion). That's all we want. We don't want to dedicate City Hall to Satan. (I don't even believe in the existence of Satan.)
Secular government is our shared "peanut butter". It doesn't need your Christian chocolate or anyone's satanic almonds added to it. Just, nice smooth peanut butter, minding its own business and not imposing religion of any kind on anyone.
The secular nature of the Constitution (and the federal government it brought about) is one of its more unique (for its time) principles. If you want to discard it, then you are not at all trying to conserve the vision of the Founders.
Tell us, is there a "Christian" math or is math chaos? The lie of neutrality. One of Satan’s greatest. He even has some Christians believing it. No, it’s either Christ or chaos.
I know you're being trite but you DO know what a "theocracy" is right? Because this demonstrates you don't quite know.I can’t see why that would be. You have your false gods that you want to rule. I just have the One True God.
Do you understand the point that is being made there? The lie of neutrality. One of Satan’s greatest. He even has some Christians believing it. No, it’s either Christ or chaos.
I think the word "demean" has changed meaning since that time. And yet you immediately provide an example of what's disturbing.

There are two separate words that happen to be spelled the same.I think the word "demean" has changed meaning since that time.
