Why did Jesus say 'forgive US OUR tresspasses' in the Lord's prayer? Did he say before teaching it.. this is an example of how people should pray... or was he also making this prayer himself?

The Lord's Prayer is not actually a prayer, although many Christians repeat it as such, but a teaching about prayer providing an outline of what traits a prayer should contain.

That makes the Lords prayer an out line for prayer, not a prayer itself.

Correct, but "debts" comes from the word opheiléma, which can also mean a wrong done to someone, in this case, sin.

Jesus is sinless so he was not referring to Himself but giving us (sinners) an example of how to pray.

So you should pray like this , "Our Father....."
It's becomes a prayer if you put your mind and heart into these words of Jesus and pray them as a prayer .
