  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Transitional Fossils would not prove we evolved from other species

How so? say the required amount of Transitional Fossils is fulfilled(it is not, something for another day/post), we can easily assume that YHWH made all those species... similar, so it appears like an evolve
Implied assertion: "Even if we were to have fossils of every generation between, say, Eohippus and Orohippus I would still reject this evidence and claim YHWH made them different."

You would tell evidence to take a hike?

How many T. Rexes have you found over this entire planet? one? two?
They have found thousands of Coelophyis fossils from 250 million years ago. Clearly there was a large herd of them. Fossils of something like the trilobite from half a billion years ago are so common that you can buy them for a few dollars on Ebay.

Marine environments are great for preserving animals with hard exoskeletons. Terrestrial environments are not so friendly to fossilization.

For example, there were billions of passenger pigeons in North America at one time. They were considered the most numerous bird species in existence, and their flocks would spread for miles in the air. Man considered them a pest and we hunted them to extinction. Guess how many passenger pigeon fossils we have found? Just a handful.
