Ohhh lucky you!
When I went to see Mannheim Steamroller about 4 years ago I wore nice pants (I think they were plaid *shudder* . . . but I was in 7th grade so it's okay!) and a black shirt. My mom wore slacks and a dressy shirt too. I didn't see anyone in jeans, but I could have been mistaken. . .

well...

dress how you want, trust me, its no normal concert, and 80% of the people there won't be the kind of people to go to a 'show'. But if you really want to know, the people in the more expensive seats will tend to be in a semi-formal attire, something above church dress or so. Then, everyone else's staple, is shirt and jeans...

defenitely going to see them the 23rd of December

I am going to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra and have no idea how I need to dress. Does anyone know?

Umm...hardcore classy?

I dunno, but I wish you the best!

I just went to Primus this past weekend, dressed to the nines and little did I know the entire front section was the dang mosh pit. Uhhhhmmmm..... (that's me falling over and getting an uppercut as someone got hoisted to crowd surf)

My family and I went to see the Trans-Siberian Concert last friday, Dec. 8 in Boise ID...AMAZING!!!!!!! I think one would be hard pressed to find the talent in this band anywhere else, and the light show is FIERCE!!! What a delightful group of men and women. One of the few groups that will actually stick around after the show to meet with fans and sign autographs. They say that their fans are their after party. That said, we dressed up for the concert, i.e. I wore slacks and strappy heels (which I would not recommend if you have to walk uphill to the arena...I'm speaking from experience) and my husband and teenage sons wore slacks, a dress shirt, and tie. Do you have to? No...but I can tell you that when we went through the line to meet them, every member of that band, thanked us for dressing up. EVERY one of them. They are a talented group of artists and not just an ordinary rock stars, and I think that they deserve a certain level of respect.
Just my opinion though...

Dress up, dress down, whatever. I wanted to go see them so bad, it's on the 22nd though and I have family events to attend to, as it is the holidays. A friend of mine and his girlfriend are going and so is my boss and her fiance. Is it true the tickets are about 50 a pop?
