Does anyone have a child using Trailblazer Math curriculum in school?

Do you have any problems with it?

My 2nd grader is really struggling with completing the classwork and has gotten worse at basic computation. He seems totally dependant on the "200 Chart" tool that they use in class. Math used to be a favorite subject and now he doesn't even try.

I'm so frustrated and it's easy to start thinking I could do a better job at home (esp. since we have to help him finish his classwork home plus his homework).

err, not all kids learn with the same tools, thats why I homeschool, if something isn't working I ditch it and try another way. your kids teacher is a bit limited with a class of over 10 it is pretty hard to customize much less use seperate curricula.
