Traditions for Autumn

So what does everyone do specifically in Autumn? Do you go to a particular festival? Have a certain meal? Get togethers? Let us all in on your Autumn plans!

Well, if I could get better I'd love to go hiking and see the gorgeous fall colors. We like to go apple picking in the fall. Fortunately, we did that before I got too sick. Now if I could feel better I'd like to make all sorts of yummy apple things.

I'd like to go to a Fall festival. And I'd like to go to the mountains to take some fall pictures. That'd be nice. We don't have many Autumn traditions to be honest, but I'd like to find something to do, so maybe I could start a tradition.

My family used to go to the mountains for fall when we lived close enough to them. I miss that.

Yeah, I love the mountains especially in the autumn. Beautiful colors, awesome weather.

Oh and I think we're going to make a tradition of letting Luther the dog destroy a pumpkin. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy it last year.

We don't have any Fall traditions since we don't have that season here. lol We do typically try to go to a Fall Festival of some sort, though.

Jennie - I think you should mail me some Fall foliage so I can show my kiddos what leaves are supposed to look like this time of year!

I usually go to a pumpkin patch/corn maze. And I used to get to go on a hayride every year. Haven't done that in years though. BOO!

Haha! That's adorable. I think we'll get rascal a pumpkin too. He seems freaked out though by the one that we bought for carving. He's such a weirdo. lol
