trading spaces

Does anyone like these type of shows? Remodel remake your house etc? I am addicted I watch trading spaces about 4 times a week and try to catch Ty Pennington's show extreme makeover/ home edition weekly.

I think its kind of funny when the people invovled don't like the outcome, but I guess they should know they will be taking their chances when they signed up for the show!

Would anyone of you take the chance to be on T. V.? That maybe one of those designers wrecked your bedroom or living room?

I love these shows! But I especially Love Extreme MakeoverHome Edition (I love that they are using the TV to better someones life who really needed it!!)

I would definately go on these shows, even knowing I may not like the outcome... but so far I always like the outcome (Even on Trading Spaces!)

I love these kinda shows also. I'd definately be on one if I could. What do you really have to lose? You could always fix whatever they did. I've even tried a few tips that I've learned watching. And I have a few more ideas in my idea for furture projects.

I know someone who was on Trading Spaces and she said they would never do it again. They had them do their daughters room and they weren't happy, but their daughter loved it. They sold their house shortly after to someone who was a Trading Spaces fanatic and the room actually sealed the deal for them.

Do you remember which designer did their daughters room? Was it Gen?
She did a room where you could pin up a pyramid scene on the bed curtains Odd to say the least.

I don't remember the designer, but it seems like it was a guy. This was awhile ago. Their daughter's room had a monkey desk in it. That's all I remember.

Trading Spaces is one of my favorite shows, I could watch it all day, especially when Carter or Ty are the Carpetners!!

I'd do that show in an instant without a second thought, as long as Heildia(not sure on the spelling there) wasn't doing my room, she has some real good ideas, she is just very out there with her designs and she does too much black.

Extreme Makeover-Home Edition is a major tear dropper, and there hasn't been anything on the show yet that I haven't liked!!

I love trading spaces. I used to watch it so much that i had to take a break from it..now i only watch it maybe once a week. lol. I would probably go on the show, though now that you dont get to pick the room they are doing i am not so sure..i would be afraid they would do my kitchen and then i would be upset because my colors on the walls, etc match my dishes. I wouldnt want Hildi though, i wouldnt want to end up with feathers, flowers or cardboard on my walls.

I love extreme makeover home edition also and i sit there and bawl everytime!! that is so awesome how they are helping needy people! some of the stuff they put in the houses just blows me away!! its very neat!

Did you hear that they have gotten rid of Paige Davis? Her last show will air in March. They are moving to a "hostless environment." Also, apparently, she had done a few things that TLC didn't morally agree with and there was friction there.

I don't know how that will end up. I love watching the show though.
