What tracts do you use?

I generally use Chick Tracts for tracts that I leave in public places.

I like the million dollar tracts from Living Waters to hand directly to people.

Smart Cards from Living Waters is a great way to get into the "Good Person Test" with people and to stick in cases of beer at stores.

For Bibles to give away, One Million Tracts has New Testament Only ESVs for 75 cents a each.

i just don't "get" the money tracts. i find them quite tacky, to be honest.

When I am in the States I like to use the way of the master tracts or customtractsource.com

However, out here I usually make my own. I have a list up at AFC: Arabic tracts of some that we have made in various languages.

-This Was Your Life from Chick Tracts. Simple and understandable explanation of our standing before God.
-The Trillion Dollar Bill from Living Waters. It looks a more like a real dollar bill, and people go for it
-The Atheist Test by Living Waters. Haven't seen response to this.
-Are You a Good Person Comic by Living Waters. This one's my favorite. It's kinda funny, it's clear, and it catches people's eyes.

There are tracts published by Evangelical Tract Distributors from Canada that we love. Chick tracts "get read" - what a great motto-

There were some checks I used to witness with in the 70's - they were yellow standard looking "checks". Until you looked closer... heh heh heh...
then you saw the checks were made out to whosoever believes and were signed by God. On the back of the checks were the bible verses backing up what was on the front. Ingenious idea - passed many out in my younger days; great way to introduce strangers to God's plan.

I can't find my stash of checks - has anybody seen these gems - are they still in print? Know where I can order some?..

Here is an awesome story on the use of tracts. Some may have already heard this, it is a great encouragement! I got off at George St about Mr. Frank Jenner (sometimes spelled Genor).

I believe tracts are a great tool for evangelism, however, I find Chick tracts to be more distructive than good for evangelism. Chick tracts at times are more about issues and non-issues than about the gospel. Personally, I really like some of the tracts from Living Waters. I also like the "May I ask you a question?" tracts from Eva Tell. Campus Crusade for Christ also has a good one called "Your Most Important Relationship". The best tracts are the ones that present the gospel; defining sin, our need for forgiveness from sin and how Christ provides salvation.
