Hey all, today I found out that my grandmother had another stroke. She has been having them for over a year now and cannot take care of herself. Her mind is quickly deteriorating. My Mom told me today that my grandmother fell and hit her knee and sprained it and also hit her head. She had to go to the hospital. She is back from the hospital now but is still very weak and she may be getting to her last days here on earth (although you never know). On my way from my parents house I was praying that God would give me peace about it and interesting enough I saw what looked like a dove in the clouds ...it was gray and was on a white/orange backgroud. It looked like a dove in flight and remined me that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Anyway, my family needs prayers in this situation. My grandmother doesnt know that the strokes are what makes her weak... the family decided not to tell her because they think it will make things worse. I just know we need prayer.
Also, I was supposed to get my teeth cleaned at the dentist today and my parents were going to pay for it. Well, it turned out that I need some type of deeper cleaning because I have some gengivitis (gross right?). It's not the kind where they numb your mouth, but it does kind of hurt I think. Anyway, my problem is that I don't have insurance and my parents can't afford to pay for this deeper cleaning ($190). So, I will have to find a place that will let me pay installments so that I can get the cleaning done. I need to have it done because I haven't had my teeth cleaned in over a year. My parent's insurance stopped covering me at 21. I need prayer that God will provide a way for me to get the cleanings done.
Another request is a little girl in my Mom's class. Her Mom and her aunt died in a car accident two weekends ago and although my Mom said she is dealing with it, it is very tough on her. The whole class has surrounded her with support and my Mom tries to comfort her as much as she can. Please pray for this little girl...I know that at any age it's difficult to lose a parent, but she's just a little girl...7 years old.
