I am asking for prayers. I will tell you the story and let you decide how you feel you should pray. In my blog I tell of how my daughter was molested. She was 11-12 when it took place. The man was convicted and sentenced to 5 years probation, although he was facing 20 years each and two counts, total 40 years. He was told point blank he was not allowed to contact me or any of my friends or family. He is not allowed to ask anyone my location or anything about me and my kids.
Several months ago he started calling my best friend and tormenting her with sob stories of how he was wronged and he missed us. He even started going to her work. After threatening him with harrassment he finally stopped. Now this child molester is going into my mother's work. Now let me point out my mom works 1 1/2 hours from where he lives. He goes in and asks her how she is, how we are etc. She never responds out of fear of losing her job.
Today I decided I was sick of this. I spoke to the prosecutor who suggested that I take out another restraining order on the grounds of harrassment and fear that he will try to find my daughter. He told everyone I divorced him because he had an affair!! He has admitted had she not told he would have raped her.
Tomorrow I go and file charges. My mother is also filing also. The prosecutor said he plans to revoke his probation this time. I know this may sound bad, but that is what I want. I am tired of looking over my shoulder. This man has told everyone he had a mental breakdown because he had cancer and that is why he molested her. Yes he had cancer but it was 5+ years before he molested her. He had been cancer free for many years. Did not even have to have scans any longer!!
I am praying myself. I am praying that God will touch the judge. That the judge will see that for this man to be free and constantly trying to locate my family (which he has now done) that it means my child is in danger. He could try to get to her again. I want him in prison, where he has to go through therapy. Where he will be made to face the fact he is a child molester (he denies this although he pled guilty to 2 counts of sodomy). I want him off the streets. I want my daughter to be safe. He had a complete obcession with her. All his passwords were her birthdate, etc. Tomorrow I face the judge, and then will have to do so again in 2 weeks.
Lord I call on you to protect my family. Lord let vengence be yours! I call on your promise to protect us.
