Is anybody here a fan of Tori? I've just recently discovered her music and I love it!! Some of her songs sound like they were taken directly from my life, and I admire her for her personal struggles, as I am a survivor of rape too.

Mine too. Is she just too deep for most people? Maybe. I have her cd's Little Earthquakes,Scarlet's Walk and Silent All These Years(my fav).
I think she can shock people with her lyrics,maybe a bit on the Pink side but subtle sounding.I do like her.She's been around for a long time.

i listen to a lot of "deep" music and i just dont care for her music because its not just bittersweet its downright depressing. i guess i could understand if you have some kind of a "connection" with her, i dont know...but thats just my personal opinion.

Definitely. Even some of the songs that don't seem to quite make sense on the surface. She's just got a certain way about her that draws me in anyway.
