Does anybody else enjoy thinking about topology?
I have a dusty old Time Life Books: Mathematics--published in the 1960s, I believe--in which I like to go back and look at the chapter about topology. The illustration about how if you crumple a piece of paper at least one point on the piece of paper remains in the same place is especially fascinating.
