can i ask do you consider these artists/bands to be the best of all time or are they your favourites? some people don't see a distinction but I do.

for instance i have many bands that i love, such as Tool, Muse, Gomez, Mogwai etc but i would not advocate them as the greatest musical artists of all time because no matter how much i love their music i think they each lack a certain something to propell them into the Greatest Ever catagory.

do you agree or disagree.... and why?

Not being very 'musically literate', I don't think I'm qualified to decide 'best' apart from my favorites. That being said...in no particular order...(that would be like trying to rank my kids by favorites!!)...

Not sure about Top5 best bands ever, so I'm kind of wasting my time here, but I'd like to vote for 'Queen' to be in it. After all, there's only one 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. That song is always imitated, never dupicated.
