Top 3 Animes

Even though I love the series, truer words have not been spoken. They tried to make up for it with episode 24 and the dream sequence in episode 26, but by then everything had just gotten muddled.

I'm really wondering whether Rebuild Of Evangelion will do a repeat of that or whether it'll actually be a satisfying ending to the series. Either way, nice new animation, more potential AMV footage for me, and no more of those annoying covers for the original's low production costs.

Wait, they're redoing eva? Or just the end? That'd be awesome, assuming they do it as well as the beginning of the original show.

You can find the Newtype cover in a lot of places online - I've attached one of the scans from inside.

One of the things I remember reading is that this is more of an alternative take or some such, in that the focus would be different and that they wouldn't include the white-text-on-black interjections this time around.

Lately I've been getting gourged on Eva stuff, what with RE-TAKE (a very good, albeit adults-only, doujinshi*) finishing up a month ago or so.

*I'd give it a rating of NC-17 since the offending scenes take up very little in the way of page space (it steadily decreases from 9 pages in Vol. 1 to half a page in Vol.4, and the stuff in Vol. 4 is obscured enough that it didn't really merit censoring) and the focus is on the actual storyline and plot instead of the H, although I did manage to go in on my copy and mosaic censor it down to a high R.

Age Soft has reposted an image mentioning Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Haruka Route will be adapted to animation. ANS first reported the possibility on August 28th. At that time the same image linked above mysteriously appeared on Age Tech's website between 16:00 and 19:00 on August 28th but was later pulled.

I wonder when that's going to air. I'm certainly looking forward to that whenever it happens, though.

Awesome, I'll be looking forward to it. Eva would have been one of my favorites if it weren't for the end.
