Tool?

Any other Tool fans here?

Tool is my favorite band. Their music alone is very tantalizing... both to listen to, and even to play. But follow it up with Maynard's poetic lyrics it's hard to deny the complexity of Tool's music.

Tool also brings up much of intelligent discussion over interepretation of their songs and the subjects that surround them.

What do you think?

YES! Tool are awesome! Lateralus and Aenema are my favourite albums.

(I like a perfect circle more but I haven't heard their new album yet.)

Aenima's my favorite Tool album, followed in closely by Lateralus, then by Salival.

A Perfect Circle's awesome. I loved Mer De Norms, and Thirteenth Step so far is even better.

Axver, a couple of good Tool songs to get you started would be Schism, Stinkfist, and Sober.

I'm not a huge Tool fan, but I really like Lateralus. One thing is for sure, Tool have some of the most original music videos ever made.

Downloaded four Tool songs - Aenima, Stinkfist, Sober, and Schism - and they're great, especially the first and last. They seem like a very talented band.

i miss tool. i left my aenima album in nz. they're way trippy... songs that take you on a journey... nothing else like it.

Before I was a Christian I liked Tool, but in my opinion they are very blasphemous now looking at them in a Biblical perspective.

Seriously? I never knew that. Talk about original!

And as for them being blasphemous, well yeah, some of their songs really are, I just don't listen to those songs.

I've heard good things, and some bad, (untrue?) rumors. I dont really care or not to get into them. Not my thing, If youre into punk tho, Try Bad Religion. These guys are good.
