Is it possible that we'll get oversaturated eventually with series surrounding shinigami? A lot of them go under the radar, like one that recently finished at 4 volumes: Shinigami sama ni Saigo no Onegai Wo (Last Request to Lord Shinigami)
But some series are more well known, especially Bleach, Yami no Matsuei, Undertaker Riddle (obscure one, unfortunately) Soul Eater a bit, Black Butler to an extent. There's also Virgin Reaper (scans are behind on this one) and a few got cancelled (Battle Gothic Guardian Grim Reaper for instance) and some are one shots (The Visitor, Weeping Shinigami)
I ask this because I have an idea of my own I posted in Creative Writing about a series that essentially takes those ideas and puts a new spin on it, though I'll admit it still needs some work about fleshing out limits and rules.
