CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, I know what it is. I really love to read Japanese manga. I actually have about 5 or 6 Tokyo pop books in my room. I also love to draw Japanese manga. One of my friends has written my anime stories and is hoping to get them published.

Tokyo Pop! used to put out a magazine, not manga, but actual news and pop articles from Tokyo itself... I got one issue and loved it, then I went back the next month to get the new issue, and they said they didn't put out Tokyo Pop! magazines, just manga, and I was like, WHAAAAAAT!?!?
So.... anyone know what I'm talking about?

they have some pretty good stuff out, i'll give them that, but I just wish they stilled published that magazine they "never published".... doesn't make sense, but hey, the magazine was awsome!

I loathe TP because I've seen so many poor manga mangled by its crappy translations and modifications to make it as American as possible. X_X I'm thinking of one manga in particular when I say that....
Not to mention they don't use spell check. I've found so many annoying grammar and punctuation mistakes it's not even funny. Heck, I've seen scanlations done by people who spoke English as a second language done better than that. TP really needs to get it together.
Ummm, Gainax is a Japanese anime company, you know X_X Not a manga producer. Or at least, not from what I know ^^;;
