I dont think this guy is demonic just a crazy false teacher. lol its sad when people believe guys like this.

Over in the pentacostal section there's a lot of threads on this guy, including one about him being possessed (or oppressed) by something like 25 demons.


I would encourage everyone to look closely at this mans teachings and compare them to what Scripture really says....test the spirits.

I listened to the audio where he spoke about being possessed. I think the link was over in that section of the forum. I ventured over there when I researched this guy.

It is all OK now. The demons came out. (or so he says . . . )

The Lakeland revival talks about healing but healing by who,Todd Bentley.
In addition there is NO REPENTANCE just supposed healing.
Todd describes how he was taken up to the third heaven and operated on by angels.
Why would our Lord need to operate on anyone causing anxiety and consternation to that person.
Believe me this movement or cult is false but it is deceiving many all over the World.

IMO the ultimate question is not whether or not a person was "healed" as demons can perform "healings" as well.

I agree. My point was narrow: We should not just look at a bizarre METHOD and reject it JUST BECAUSE it is bizarre. There is nothing *inherently* worse about a kick in the chops than a spit in the eye, if both yield positive results.

The question is how that person's walk with God was affected. Demons can and will heal a body at the expense of a soul. The real issue is are people repenting of their sins and turning to Christ for salvation? Also is Christ being glorified? If you listen to his preaching he seems to be glorifying angels not Christ. Yes angels do help believers but they should not be worshipped or glorified in any way.

Those points do concern me more than a bizarre methodology.

From what I hear from various sources it's either fake, or demonic. Fake is giving it the benefit of the doubt but in all honesty I'd be shocked if there is no demonic influence in it.

It's all emotion, repetitive nearly to the point of chanting and no teaching going on. This is not how the Holy Spirit works.

I'm wondering where in the NT it teaches that there are HUGE revivals - esp. before Christ's return

but then, we don't truly know how close His return is either technically.

I'm Very leary of these revivals people speak of. Most of the tv preachers I see speaking of revivals are using them as pep rally jargon to get them whooped up into a frenzy....

I believe in the gifts of the Spirit, I'm just not convinced it's actually the Spirit behind alot of what we see done in these movements.
