And what did that Inspector General have to say about this whistle blower you are referring to that is, I am assuming, not the whistle blower of this thread that does not seem to be hiding his identity from anyone other than a particular Inspector General?

CNN pretends that they're not partisan. I have nothing against CNN being as such, but they should admit they're a left leaning network and want Trump to be impeached.

Everyone knows and understands Fox is a conservative leaning News broadcaster. People pretend CNN is somehow better. It isn't.

The IG said that the Whistleblower's claims (the first one, that is -- the rate they're coming out of the woodwork; who can keep track anymore?) were both urgent and credible.

I did not ask about the claims I asked what the IG had to say about the whistle blower. However, if you only wish to discuss what the IG in question said about the claims , how did the IG in question say that the IG in question determined the claims were credible?

Perhaps it is more like all those that do not oppose Trump at every turn and on every issue whether they support him personally or not are dishonest and lack integrity are bigoted racist , homophobic and misogynist. Because of course that is self evident.

Wow, there's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

That video has some diced up snippets of Zucker's 9am call and then a handful of low level staffers talking about how everybody who works there hates the breathless 24/7 Trump coverage.

That's it.

Heck, I could've told you that and I only check the website a couple times a day. Any reasonably intelligent person working in any sort of creative industry could take one look at CNN's product and realize that working in the trenches over there must be a mind-numbing, professionally-frustrating slog. They're not putting out good, thoughtful, high-quality product. They're putting out dumbed-down, overwrought, commercialized schlock.

In a few days to weeks when deceptive editing, decoy interview partners or other trickery becomes evident, you'll have moved on to another topic, just like I'll do now.

There's not even that much potentially-deceptive editing in the video (it's possible that the editing on the Zucker call was deceptive, but I'm not going to argue about it). By and large, it's right-wingers salivating over a nothingburger.

This is latest iteration of the federal law (2012). In skimming it I find nothing about the person's name remaining hidden from public knowledge.

S.743 - 112th Congress (2011-2012): Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2012

You need to look at the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, the 2012 law builds upon its protections it doesn’t just supersede it. I’m certainly not a lawyer, but I believe the section you’re looking for is..

"(h) The identity of any individual who makes a disclosure described in subsection (a) may not be disclosed by the Special Counsel without such individual's consent unless the Special Counsel determines that the disclosure of the individual's identity is necessary because of an imminent danger to public health or safety or imminent violation of any criminal law.”

To be fair, the IG was appointed by Trump and based on Trump’s record for appointing people since he became President, there is a decent chance the IG may be incompetent.

That's not exactly what I said, although i'll be the first to admit, the first sentence in the last paragraph of my last post was poorly formulated. While those who support Trump may not themselves be dishonest or lack integrity, you have to suspend your support of those values in endorsing Trump.

I'm saying his lies are self evident.

"I had the largest electoral college victory since Reagan" (Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama all had larger electoral college victories)

"I started with a small loan of $1 million from my father" (he was given over $400 million from his father)

"I have no business in Russia" (had a proposal for Trump Tower in Moscow at the time)

"I am John Baron calling..." (Trump would routinely call news outlets claiming to be "John Baron", and employee of Donald Trump and make up stories about how great Trump was)

"Nobody respects women more than me" (Grab them by the X)

We can go on and on, because he just keeps on lying. If you value honesty and integrity, then supporting Trump doesn't make much sense.

But, please, explain how these lies (and the thousands of others) suddenly become "truth" when you don't have a liberal worldview.

That is a possibility, but Donald tends to value loyalty over competence... the IG seems to break the mold, as a true believer would have never found an anti-Donald claim to be urgent or credible...

I find it somewhat ridiculous the claim that Fox leans right, and CNN leans left at least in equal measure. Fox at least allows a lot more on the left a platform to share their views as compared to CNN which very little if anything is allowed to go out as pro Trump.
