I disagree with that. God isn't santa claus, he doesn't give us presents if we're good little boys and girls. How does that philosophy relate to all the Christians in third-world countries who only know hardship and suffering their whole lives?

Hey brov, its true hardship in third world etc, but the scripture is scripture whether we have got hard ships or not. God cannot lie can He? He does say "delight in the Lord and He will give us our hearts desires" that’s a fact, the thing is there is difference between deep desires and needs, that’s why It also says "I will supply all your needs" Now how a poor person in Africa would apply that verse I don’t know.

All I know is that it can be done. G. Muller many years ago claimed well over £1,000,000 by faith to feed poor people. So yes you may disagree but at the end of the day its what Gods word says that counts and not opinions. If I lived in poor countries I would seek Gods blessing with all my heart, and probably my desires / needs would be different to what they are here.

Any way, I’m not saying any thing to gripe at you really, so plz don’t take this response personally, take care John:)

Hello John, TB - just a note. If you truly delight yourself in the Lord, your desires grow and change such that they begin to match God's desires - that is why 'Thy will be done' is the heart of the Christian's prayers. Desire earnestly that God's desires be met and you will see God's desires working out and consider yourself blessed. Not always what you might expect, but walking with God, it will be a blessing even in hard times.

Have a good day, guys.
