In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like his new CD! It's pretty good. My favorites are Burn for You and Gotta Go... and Truett (sp?) is pretty cute on his song, too.

I find the remix much better than momentum, which is a bit ironic, since Tobymac himself did nearly nil for the remix album.

Hi All - I saw Toby and Third Day on the 5th and they were both great. Day of Fire wasn't too bad either. The whole lineup was very diverse and brought together rock, rap and worship. Gotta love that!
As I get a little older, Toby's type of music doesn't do it as much for me anymore as Third Day but you gotta respect the fact that he's in his upper 30's and can still connect to youth and move the way he does.
Great job to all the performers!

Heh....I got to see TobyMac (and everyone else) on his birthday....back in October. 
Pretty cool. Before the concert (which I will admit...was at first to only see Third Day because I LOVE Third Day) I had only heard bits of songs from TobyMac. But now I got all his CDs...and I really love his style.

I actually got Toby Mac's first CD on the strength of one song alone--Extreme Days. I downloaded a preview track off of Jesus Freak's Hideout or one of those type websites. I was shocked (and really realized how out of the loop I was) to realize that most of the CD is hip hop and R&B stuff. But it's all good. Its one of the few CDs I can listen to all the way through and not get bored with (usually I only listen to CDs while writing, and I'm not really paying attention to them).

I like Toby's new C.D. I just bought it. I really enjoy Momentum also. Is he the same one that did the rap in D.C. Talk way way back? That I didn't care for as much.
