CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, joined yesterday and I want to say that I really enjoy having this site available! Also, if anyone's looking to give out a few blessings, I would greatly appreciate it! (Just want to create my own custom avatar and sig, that is all). And does reputation actually do anything?

Hi I just signed up today...I have been a Christian since 1998 and am finally getting baptized this Sunday. Saw The Passion last night and I must say that was the FIRST time I have EVER cried in a movie theater. It was awesome.

it was a very well dome movie. it was very realistic. it's the closest thing to how it really happened so far, though i was a little displeased with the fact they put the nails in his hands instead of his wrists.

I am newbie.. ANd I believe in God, put I am perturbed that I require 30 posts before I can add a sig, and 150 for a custom avatar!.. Oh well I guess it goes due the vast amount of registered posters.
This place is a godsend because I can commune with people that believe in god, not argue or try to convince God does not exist.
