CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey ya'll, hope you all are enjoying your time here 
I haven't been on regular, I'm taking a extened break from here right now. Life is crazy at this present moment. I'm moving out on my own for the first time It's gonna be wonderful but scary at the same time.. I can't wait I'm getting with the electric company in the morning to see when that can be turned on and as soon as that gets on, I'm doing the cleaning and moving on out. Already got me stuff packed up Should be nothing but three loads to get everything there
The Lord has given me major blessings this season of his birth and it shall be a year I will never forget and will continue to give the most holy Lord above my complete and secere thanks for all he has done for me. I'm sooooooo happy at this moment I can't even put it into words how happy I am. I'm just over flowing with joy, peace, and happiness and love I can't descibe how it feels. See, I thought that I had to resign from being a mod here because I wouldn't have a computer at my new place and the Lord went and performed a complete miracle and my parents have bought me a dell laptop for a house warming gift and that is just the tip of the iceberg of blessings the Lord has thrown my way. I'm overwhelmed at all he has done for me 
Lord, I can't express my feelings into words that are good enough for how I feel right now about the many blessings you have done just in the past month. My heart and soul and mind are overwhelmed right now. You have been beyond merciful, gracious, loving, giving, and just plain out awesome. I'm sooooooo grateful for everything that you have done for me and give you my complete graditude and my complete thankfulness for everything you have done
Okay, guys, I just had to get that out of my system, I had to let my Lord know my feelings

Hi, I'm new here and love your site's layout. I hope to add positive posting in the future. I'm here today because of God. He spared me from Death. I have been in the hospital twice with blood clots of lungs and my doctor's don't know how I could still be alive. I had a DVT and PE of the lungs. One blood clot can kill and I had eight large clots the frist time and second time it was five clots to my lungs.
I was spared for a reason and God has a reason for everything.

Hi! I joined yesterday, but my computer froze up before I could read much or even say hello. Kids interrupted, the phone rang, etc. and by the time I got a chance to start up the computer again, I was wiped out, 
so I wanted to be sure to stop in tonight. I got smart this time though and waited until the kids were in bed!
I am a Mom to 3 great kids, who are going through the struggles of being teenagers and a pre-teen, and also living their lives honoring Christ...no easy task in todays world. I am always looking around for ideas, inspirations, stories, etc to help them and encourage them.
I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Looking for someone to talk to who is not in my church ( which is about all my close friends) or family. I too, have teenagers. I am struggling to keep it together and I do not want to have judgement on my family. I truly need someone wiser than me to help me through this daily hurt. Prayer helps, yes.
I really need a friend who is an outsider to the rest of my family. My husband doesn't like anyone knowing our business (fear of judgement possibly). Our situation is probably not unlike others, but I know it is heading for disaster after 20 years of struggles.
Does anyone know of any on-line christian counseling out there?
Oh, and for some reason, I can't figure out how to register my faith on my profile in order to allow me to post in the christian forum.

I doubt I could consider myself "wiser", but I do have 2 ears that are very good listeners any time you want them. Maybe we can help each other through these trying teenage years.
Parenting is definitely NOT for the weak, although there are times when I am so frustrated that I can't even figure out what to do.
