TNIV Translation

Face it...English just needs a third person non-specific gender singular pronoun.

Now thats kinda funny. In the Bible is is "he" or any other forms of it. I do not understand why we have all of these Bible translation that try to be gender-specific. The Bible already is! If God had wanted it any other way he would have done it.

Anyway, I have never liked the NIV, so the TNIV will have the same response from me. =)
Just a preference. No translation issue whatsoever on my part.

Well I like the more literal translations out there like the NAS of the NKJV so the NIV has never really appealed to me as it is more of a 'thought for thought' translation. So in liking more literal translations you can imagine that my response to the TNIV would not be that great. I am not saying that it is a bad translation, just that it might be a little pointless.
