Can anyone tell me their thoughts on Telekinesis?
Also, what does the Bible say about it? i have gone through many many MANY different people, sites, etc. but i cannot find one who can really give me a solid reason that TK is ungodly. i am not here to try to prove anything -that it exists or is godly- i would rather just have someone who actually knows what they are talking about help me find a stable answer. it is not witchcraft, sorcery, or a form of divination as far as i have found. But anyway back to the question---
what do you people think about and know about telekinesis?

For me to answer this question, I have to make sure we are clear on the meaning of telekinesis:
- The movement of objects by scientifically inexplicable means, as by the exercise of an occult power.
- the apparent production of motion in objects (as by a spiritualistic medium) without contact or other physical means
- the power to move something by thinking about it without the application of physical force.

If we can agree on these definition of telekinesis, then I will try to answer your question?
I believe any relationship with a spirit or medium, other than God himself is dangerous practice. Would you welcome a total stranger, to spent a night in your house? We tend to use exetreme caution when dealing with someone we never met. The Bible is full of warnings in dealing with spiritual mediums. First of all, you don't know what kind of spirit your dealing with. Like the total stranger who could be anything from a good person to a pyscho-killer, when dealing with spirits, you'll never know what kind of spiritual being you are bring into you life. An evil person (whether human or spiritual) always try to gain access into your life through friendship and or kindness. But once they're in, it is extremely difficult to get them out. Though telekinesis exist, I would highly recommend to stay away from it. If there is a spirit you wish to deal with, ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and He will send the Holy Spirit to be your personal guide.

Ok just wanted to throw that in because everybody else does …yes I am kidding

What I will offer you may not be what you want to hear but I will give you the info…the decision is up to you.

Obviously I am not in Satanism any more that was years ago and all together another story as to how and why I got out.

Tk Telekinesis sometimes referred to as Psycho kinesis refers to moving objects from one place to another without using physical contact as spenserspotless stated. It also references the reshaping of objects, for some reason spoons or forks are most always used

We are told that this is done through the mind’s energy, which really makes it sound almost sweet; very enticing words to cover up the reality of what is talking place. Regardless of what the world calls this I will give it to you straight; believe it or not, that’s up to you.

First the measure of anything that is Godly is profit or benefit. God does not do things or have things done unless there is an immediate or long range profit to it.

The second measure is glorification – Things that are Godly will glorify God directly or indirectly.

Now ask yourself, where is the profit to tk and who get the glory – generally there is no profit immediate or long range except for the glorification which goes the operator; a good example is in Acts 8:9 with Simon.

The third measure which does not necessarily apply in this case is, is it decent and in order. This is mostly applicable now days to some churches who operating some of the manifestations of the spirit, such as of Speaking in tongues {so called slain in the spirit stuff} I am not condemning the manifestation of tongues, just the falsities that have been associated with it.

As an aside since I am on the subject these > the manifestations {I Corinthians 12:8-10} of the spirit are the things that the believer should be operating. This is what fully equips you as a son of God, that you can walk with power in a crooked and perverse nation. You will notice I did not use the word gifts that everybody else uses. They are not gifts they are a manifestation of the gift, of holy spirit, the gift given when you were born again. Anyhow back to tk.

You know there is no profit to it for God or his people and that it does not glorify God, no matter how people try to spin it; so what is taking place? This is where it gets a little touchy because people either don’t want to believe it or refuse to because of unbelief. In simple terms it is the operation of devil spirits….I can hear people now saying, oh here he goes off on the demon thing…like I said before its your choice.

This doesn’t mean you’re possessed. One does not need to be possessed to operate devil spirits; but that doesn’t mean he can’t be. Most people do not understand possession or the operation of spiritual phenomena and right away throw their arms up and call the person a wacko. Well maybe I am a wacko…but that’s beside the point and it doesn’t negate the truth of what I speak. Understanding the spiritual realm be it holy spirit or devil spirits is a whole different world it is beyond the 5 senses, and that is generally why people poo poo the thing (can I use the word poo poo)



There are only two kinds of spiritual powers that can be tapped into in this world, Gods power and that of the devil. You can put whatever label you want on it but that is the bottom line. The success of the devil is the secrecy of his moves, which he has cloaked with word of mind’s energy cosmic forces physic powers. These are the soft words for what is known as operating devil spirits. He has been pretty successful with his moves with things like the ouija board {“the harmless game for kids” quote un quote} automatic writing, physic surgery, telepathy, apport, séances and tk to name a few. My advice is to delve into the true God and his power …put on the whole armor of God become the person God has called you to be.

i don't have much time so i can't fully reply now, but spenser, what does telekinesis have to do with the occult exatly? or trafficing spirits? Things are pretty much energy, energy is everywhere, finding a different way to use the energy i do not believe has anything to do with demons. (i am just starting from the top, dont want to miss anything) it's pretty much just regular old everyday energy as far as i know,a different way of creating and transfering energy through the air to an object. i know the way i put makes me sound rather ignorant, i'll admit, but i'm just trying to keep it simple- otherwise i'll most likely confuse myself. that's all i can say for now

The physical world that we live in is very complex, with many future discoveries awaiting to happen. But there is a lot about this world we still do not know. "Energy" as you call it has to be generated from something. Nothing moves or happen without a force to generate that motion. Just because you do not know the source of that energy, doesn't mean that an spiritual being (whether it be angelic or demonic) isn't behind it. It just means you don't have physical proof that a spiritual medium or being is involved in this act. Because you don't see something doesn't mean that it don't exist. Our eyes can be easily deceived into seeing or not seeing something. Magicians use this tactic all the time. Our physical world is extremely complex and there is a lot we don't understand about it. The spiritual world (or realm) is even more complex than our phyiscal world. Moving things without physical contact may seem cool, but it is more than just abundants of energy buzzing around in the universe.
Everything in life has a purpose, nothing just happen without a purpose behind it. Telekinesis has a purpose. The Bible is full of stories of guys who exercise this power. Some stories ended in victory, others in disaster. Those who used this power to bring victory, did so under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God himself. I think I'm getting a little extreme here, but my point is unless you understand the true nature of the power your tampering with, I would NOT mess with it. If you want to call it harmless energy, that's fine. But what you call it or what you believe about telekinesis, is not necessarily what it is.
