  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you like... PIE? ^_^

Can you cook? If so, what is your favorite thing to cook?

What was the silliest thing you did as a kid?

Are all your fingers an toes present?

T'was an odd question that last one, no? :D

Excited for Christmas?

Tell us all your  moment of all time ^_^

I double dare ya!!

Tell us all your GIRLY moment instead then :p

I double double dare ya!!

God Bless,
Drewski

 moment? Uh...well, there was the one time I was in orchestra...I accidentally started playing before the conductor signaled us to start. :sorry: ... :D

And a girly moment...uh...I dunno if I have one, specifically. ^_^

YES! Especially pumpkin and pizza! :yum:

Yes, I can cook. Hmmm...my favourite thing to cook...oh my...I dunno if I can answer that one. I just generally love to cook. ^_^

The silliest thing I did as a child...was roller blading into parked cars. I didn't know how to brake and I was still learning at the time...but they sure made great stops for me! :D

Yes, all of my fingers and toes are present...although I chopped the tip of my right middle finger off on a V-slicer. I still a little mark showing.

Yes, 'twas! :p

I'll be happy when it's over, actually. :)

Do you enjoy traveling? If so, what are some of your most memorable trips?

I love to travel! I love the thrill of being out and about in the world and seeing new things...but I think I love coming home the best (if that makes any sense...). ^_^

Some of my most memorable trips would be going out into New Mexico when I was a child. My family and I would take a week or 2 to go see my great-aunt and sightseeing. :)

Sweet! Yes, that makes sense. Sometimes it feels good to be back after a long trip.
Nice. Can't say that I've ever been out west. Sounds like a blast.

If you could eat only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Oh, out west is beautiful! Rather different from the mountains up in PA here. I loved the cacti and lizards and the gorgeous sunsets! ^_^ The only downside is that it's hot out there...but thankfully it's a dry heat. Not like the super humid, pea soup type of heat I grew up with in the city.

Oh my...only one meal? Hmmm...that's tough...mmm...methinks my crustless quiche would do nicely. I can do just about any filling combo, whether with veggies or meats, so I could really change the taste without changing the meal! :D

Yeah I bet they were pretty amazing. I've always wanted to go out there to watch a meteor shower. Being from the south, I know all about the heat :D. The humidity here is pretty horrid, but I enjoy the summers still.

I can honestly say the I've never heard of that, lol. I looked it up and it sounds pretty good.

Do you prefer to be indoors or outdoors?

What are some of the things that you enjoy most in life?

Oooo, a meteor shower in the desert! Oooo, that'd be so beautiful!

Quiche is absolutely delish as long as you find the right one. You don't want it too dry, nor as soggy as a sponge.

While I enjoy being outdoors, I'm a bit of a house bug. In the winter I barely go outside because I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold. In the spring/summer/fall, I'm usually out more, enjoying the warmer weather. :)

Hmmm...some things that I enjoy most in life...first and foremost, I enjoy the time I spend with God. After that (in no particular order): watching the world go by, listening to instrumental/classical music, crocheting/cross stitching, picking berries and being in the garden, taking a walk, cooking, and probably a few other things, but I can't think of them right now.

That it would be!

Haha, alright. I will have to remember that if I try it.

Nice. I imagine it gets pretty cold up there, but hey, at least y'all get a lot of snow. :D

That's awesome!

You mentioned berries. What types are your favorite and what do you normally pick up there? I know down here we have a lot of blackberries and some blueberries. Blackberries make an amazing cobbler.

Oh yes, it gets cold up here...and we get quite a bit of snow! ^_^

We have black raspberries, blackberries, wild strawberries, and blueberries. There might even be elderberries, but I'm not positive. I collect black raspberries the most, but I like strawberries the best. The wild ones around here are very small, but oh so sweet and bursting with flavor. ^_^

Nice! All of those are really good. We have to fight the deer for them here, lol. They like muscadines a lot too.

If you could live in another century, what century would it be and why?

Hmmm...which century...mmm...I'd say the 18-19th century. I love the idea of seeing the Old West and trying to make it out on the Oregon Trail and such. ^_^

That would be pretty awesome and a little dangerous. :D. It just goes to show you the will power that people have. Btw, I'm sorry if I ask too many questions.

Would you rather swim next to a shark or step on a snake?

I know, right? It's amazing to think what they'd gone through.
Daha! No prob. This thread is for a lot of questions. :)

Mmmm...neither, if I could. If not, well, I'd rather step on a snake...seeing I can't swim. I'd be shark food in a second. :p

What!? You can't swim?? That's no good at all. I've stepped on one once. It was when I was lost in the mountains after dark. It's a good thing copperheads don't move much when it's colder. :D

If you could pick the ultimate vacation, what would it be?

Daha, no, I can't! When I was younger, someone told me how some people can learn to swim by simply jumping in the deep end and from there instinct will take over. Well...I tried it...I jumped in the deep end of my grandfather's pool. My uncle had to rescue me. :o I can float and maybe paddle a little...but that's it. :sorry:

Oh my goodness...! A copperhead?! Thankfully he didn't move quick!

Now...my ultimate vacation...to tour Europe, the Mediterranean, and northern Africa. ^_^

That's no good at all! :D. It's good that your uncle was there though.

Yeah I was really lucky. He just barely slithered away. Ended up spending the night in the woods though. Kind of got lost that night. :D

Sounds awesome! That would be quite a vacation to say the least. I'd love to tour some of the old castles and stuff and Europe and see some of the ancient roman ruins. Good choice!

Have you ever caught a fish? :D

Oh my...you got lost? That's one thing that'd probably freak me out a bit...if I got lost. But, I have faith in God...I know He'd take care of me. :)

I know, right? I'd love to just walk around the castles and things. So fascinating! ^_^

Have I ever caught a fish...yes and no. I was at a picnic with a bunch of other families when one of the girls pulled out her fishing pole. She let me hold it for a while until the reel went crazy. She and I both reeled it in...it was a beautiful rainbow trout! :D
I'd actually like to go fishing again. It seems so peaceful and kinda fun. :)
