Tired/Frustrated with life...

You know, lately I've been feeling like I'm out of touch with God.

I'm not looking for a word.

You're definitely in my prayers, but I'm gonna rebel a little and say something else (again, because I love you).

I think we've all been there and you know I can totally relate to how you're feeling right now.

In the last three days certain things have happened in my life that are unmistakably from God. I am telling you, there's NO doubt about it.

I'm going to pray that you have one of those "no doubt" moments soon too. Even though they aren't necessary, they definitely are reassuring!!

Woob, lay it at the foot of the cross. Whatever it is, ask Him to help you.

brother we all go through these things man. Social studies prove that if we stay on these issues and dont ASK or look for help it can only get worse. I'm not saying to get meds or anything but maybe a change in diet or walking with someone holding hands. I know there are alot of people on here that love yah brother as I do. Don't let anything steal your joy as I have on many occasions. I pray GOD gives you a light to follow and know HE loves you.

God has said "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." So He is with you. It's just that our "feelings" go up and down and sometimes we feel Him near and sometimes not. But He always is.

Right now I don't feel Him close either but then I was reminded of this verse!

I am also, I think it means I need to sacrifice my cares, worries, and preoccupations to God... but saying something is a lot harder then doing something.

We all go through those days and sometimes it seems they stretch into weeks.

I do not think that the answer is in trying harder or anything like that.

Some say to pull yourself up by the boot straps and just get on with life, not the answer at all.

I believe the answer lies in how strong our relationship is with God.

Then and even then no matter how strong it is there will be times that what you are feeling is natural.

Even Jesus had those days.

But we can take hope.

"We have nothing to fear for the future unless we forget the way the Lord has led us in the past"

I am certain that in many ways the Lord has led you so look back and just contemplate how all that has happened.

Remember that many will pray for you at this time.

Hi Woo--I think every child of God has/is or will be going thru just what you are. I once heard it called the "quiet times of God". In other words--God just doesn't seem to be there. Prayers are not being answered, no light bulbs go on while we study-etc.

Sometimes I think these are testing times-"the JUST shall live by FAITH". And Woo--take it from one who knows, it is faith ALONE that see's us thru the barren spots.

So hang in there friend, God has not left you--it's just the quiet time.

I want to thank you all for your support and prayers.

I've been getting hit pretty hard for the past 5 years. It's like one thing happens after another.

I've backslidden in my faith as a result of this.

I just feel like there is no hope for me anymore.

I feel like I'm lost.

It seems that Heb. 6:4-6 is taking on new meaning for me at this time.
