  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My two are 8 and 10, and starting this summer I stretched their bedtimes out an extra 30 minutes...the 8 year old goes to bed at 8:30 and the 10 year old at 9:30...but they've been warned that could be subject to change now that school has started back up depending on their ability to handle it (i.e., no grouching about getting up in the mornings ^_^ )

Normally, what time do you put your children to bed at night? I try to get my 2 year old in the bed by 8 P.M. at night. Sometimes on the weekendsit is a tad bit later....
My youngest turns 3 next month and I put him down at 8:00 PM during the week. I don't really set a bedtime on the weekends. He's normally asleep by 9:00 PM anyway. However, if he is cranky because he's tired I'll go ahead and put him down right after dinner, which is normally about 7:00 or 7:15 PM.

God bless

With the olympics being on I've relaxed bedtime to about 10, they enjoy the treat and have been watching the fun with us. Normal bedtime is 8-8:30 for the 4, 6, and 10 year olds. The baby usually follows at 9 to 9:30 once the action of his sibs has died down (he doesn't want to miss a minute of that.) They know that serious infractions during the day garners a bedtime of 7-7:30 and nobody wants that.
