Timeline: The Rise of 4 Super Powers.

The 4th Beast of Dan 7 has the capacity for terror, and trampled nations down when it initially became a great empire. The heir to this bi-partite imperial power is equally capable of terror, even if it is not still terrorizing other countries in the same way. It has spawned the greatest colonial aggression the world has ever known, and it has created 2 world wars. And it isn't finished, if I'm right that it will become the seat of the Antichrist, who will then dominate the world.

Who would you rather as your next door neighbour - a person from the EU or an Islamist?

Well, since I'm European, I'll let you figure it out. But its capacity for terror should be a question asked of those outside of European heritage! You think?

The world tends to hate Europeans for a reason. At the same time many in the world are drawn to them. I think it's the product of the fact Europe has a Christian background, which draws people. As long as elements of Christianity remain, it is a magnet for peoples from areas under dictatorship of various kinds.

As European nations turn against their own religious faith they will become scary once again, as I see it. But this is all hypothetical, in some measure. You have to interpret it for yourself.

When we look at the Federations that have great power and authority in our world today, and then look at the emblems they are well known for, we can see who each of these `beasts` represent.

1. A Lion with Eagle`s wings - Great Britain & America. Great Britain was the first great power to arise in contemporary times. America came from there and `broke off` and became independent.

2.A ferocious Bear with 3 ribs in its mouth - Russia. Russia came from the Soviet Union, which was the second great power to arise, after WW1. It devoured country after country into a great Federation.

3.A winged Leopard with four heads - The European Union. This Union began after WW2 with 4 leaders/heads of countries.

4.A terrifying beast - Islam. This great power has yet to come to its full potential.

I think you got the beasts exactly right.

Daniel 7:4 “The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a human being, and the mind of a human was given to it.

If you make a lion stand like a man, then it is destabilized.

If it were given a mind of a human, then what did it have before that? I think it was the mind of God, or Christianity. The mind of a human is the religion of equality.

Daniel 7:5 “And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, ‘Get up and eat your fill of flesh!’

Here, Russia is triggered into starting World War III. Now what would do that?

There has been an event (Isaiah 17). Now Russia wants revenge (Isaiah 18). The revenge is on the first beast.

If Israel nukes Syria, could that start World War III? Syria is a Russian ally. The Russia nuclear doctrine says if an ally is nuked then it can nuke back.

Partly as I`ve been taught and believe. However, here is the Lion with eagles wings -

1. LION – The British Commonwealth & America.

`The first (beast) was like a lion, & had eagle`s wings.` (Dan. 7: 4)

Here we have a super power like a Lion with Eagle`s wings.

The Lion is the symbol of Royal Sovereignty. (King/Queen)
The Eagle is the symbol of Imperial Power. (Empire)

The British Empire controlled one-fifth of the world in the 19th Century.

`...its wings were plucked off;.... & a man`s heart was given to it.` (Dan. 7: 4)

At first the British Empire was a `powerful beast,` imperialistically conquering, dominating & colonising. Then we see a remarkable change. The different colonies are each given the right to rule themselves, but still coexist as a group. In political language, co-existing in freedom, peace & equality.

America who originally came from the `Lion,` the British Empire, became totally independent, yet continues to be a dominant & integral part of this powerful confederacy.
