The time to move is upon me. I will be offline for several weeks as Shane and I set up house in Delaware. Please continue to pray that God will open up housing options for us during the move.

Menno, don't let it get too quiet around here. Poke Academic with a stick once in a while so he doesn't miss me. ^_^

Jehane, your kind words have been a blessing. You are a great example of lemming free living.

MadfingerPainter, what can I say, you have been a real blessing. Thanks for the ear.

May God watch between me and thee while we are absent one from another.

Quick update

On Wednesday Shane and I spent all day lookin g for an apartment. We found one available but it was $900 a month and they wanted a $35 application fee. I wasn't in a real hurry to pay the fee to have them see a bad credit report from my past, so we kept looking. Finally, I spoke to a realtor in the area and we got some good leads. There is a two bedroom home that sits in the middle of a divided highway that would work out well for us. It would be terrible for a family with small children, but my kids are old enough to know better than running out in front of cars. It looks like we will have a lease on the place on Monday.

I started my new job on Thursday. It is a little overwhelming, but I think I will get a handle on it given some time. It will stretch me technically, which should keep it interesting and beef up my resume.

We are currently staying with some friends for the weekend until our house is ready. Thank you for the prayers. I hope to be back on soon.
