I am new here to this board but I thought I would share a vision I had on new years eve. I am not sure what it means. I was watching the new years eve celebrations on TV when time sort of froze on what I was looking at and I heard the Lord say Time shall be no more. I know I have heard this phrase over the years but am unsure of the context I had heard it. Maybe someone here could shed some light on the meaning. God bless

That's stunning!

Some people hypothesize that God doesn't live in linear time like we do...that He sees everything at once, as a whole...or in layers. There was a movie called "Event Horizon," which wasn't very good, but it stretched the boundaries of how we think of time, speaking of points where two time planes meet. Well, if we can get heady like this, then God certainly can.

Physicists explore notions on time. It could mean that an important breakthrough was about to be announced. Like along these lines:

The word you heard sounded a lot like prophetic things that I hear internally--quick and to the point, with unknowns unexplained. Later they make sense. Did you feel a sense of doom, or relief, or urgency along with it? That would be important.

I say that because of the nature of your word--that's the kind of thing I hear when I'm about to see the phrase in the headlines the next day. Pray that God's perfect will be done, whether it's an end times alert or a scientific breakthrough...that information and power stay in the right hands. That the people involved have the resources and connections they need to further God's plans.

And hey, welcome here! I think I ran into you a week ago+.

This goes along the same lines as what I was thinking. God's time moves at a different speed than ours here on earth. Therefore, even if you heard "Time shall be no more" this doesn't mean that anything should happen right away. It could be 10 years or 10,000 years, we cannot know.

Time is a physical characteristic of our universe. God lives outside of time, whatever that means. That's why God calls himself "I AM". Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." He wasn't using bad grammar, he was describing his eternality.
