One morning the boys were supposed to be getting ready for school the oldest one got the thermometer out and I went to check on the other one came back in the living room, grabbed the thermometer and looked at it. It said 108, I made him go get his clothes on. He had stuck it to a light bulb.

I broke my kids by making them stay in bed and back then there were no tv's in bedrooms and video games
so they would of course whine
I told them to stay in bed or go to school sometimes they would play it out and by lunch time they were ready to go to school ,I would take them back to school after lunch
