Once again, another song from my childhood that was on the Christian radio back in the 2000s and early 2010s. Only folks born in the '90s/early 2000s and before would remember this one. From now on, I will post a relevant scripture that connects to the song, as scripture is just as important as worship.

In a life past I/we played this one and I always enjoyed that song.


Side note: I particularly enjoyed the dissonance the bass guitar provides when the band first enters, it reminds me of a similar thing in the intro of Surrender by Cheap Trick.

Yeah, this song does give a 1970s/1980s vibe. I like Cheap Trick as well. Either Cheap Trick was 25 years ahead of the time, or Tim Hughes hearkened back to the past, or both.

I like the Jeremy Camp one better as well, though both songs are pretty good. All praise to the Lord Jesus Christ, His Father and the Holy Spirit. It is so awesome we can praise the Creator of this vast universe through music uploaded on the internet. Even though I am somewhat of an old soul, I am blessed to be living in 2024 to praise God with technology.
