I don't think I have to dig into the Greek to expound on the word joy in correlation to party! Just go buy some chocalate and rejoice, (unless you are fasting), break open a root bear and give cheers to God - He gots your Back! If you can't leave your house because of house arrest, then kick up your heels and dance on the devils head - He's defeated. If this isn't spiritual enough, then sing unto the Lord a new song! If you can't sing or dance then give God a big hug and tell'em your happy because of Jesus. If your theology is all messed up... jump for joy because you know God - He'll straighten it out!
God created the invisible and the visible he by no means restricted in your circumstances.
Have you ever thought why God created silly lookin sea creatures that you may seen in a book or on T.V. with crazy antenas and strange lookin eyes and lips. God has a sence of humor. Do you think Jesus ever laughed? If you can't laugh with joy then why has he created laughter? Laugh ... for the devil may look big right now but really he's lost his authority and you now have authority over him. However, rejoice even more that your name is written in the lambs book of life! Who's writing this? It certainly can't be me! I didn't author the BOOK! Who's encouraging you? I died along time ago, my flesh cannot encourage by the word. It must be Christ who now lives in me. I guess I must be in use! Besides that who has joy, in the natural, when they have no job, no friends, no money. It can't be fake cause I feel the joy right now. It must be Christ in me. The same Christ that dwells in you! The same fruit of the Spirit that you possess. GO ahead take a bite and pass it on!
