Hello friends,

We have several "through the Bible" threads and, personally, I find them very beneficial; so, I've decided to start a "Through The Prophets" [Isaiah through Malachi] thread in order to give some attention to that very important portion of the Bible, as well. I realize at some point there will be duplication with some of the other threads....

In any case, I'll begin:

Isaiah 1:1

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz concerning Judah and Jerusalem, which he saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Hi, Zakon :wave:

Isaiah 1:4

Ah, sinful nation,
a people loaded with guilt,
a brood of evildoers,
children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the Lord;
they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on him.

Isaiah1:11
The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?" says the LORD.
"I have more than enough of burnt offer of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
